Keep copies of your documents. Save your work often, keep it where you keep your other files, and keep a backup of anything that matters to you, such as a thesis. Wombat saves to your own computer; nothing is kept for you anywhere else.

As it is

Wombat, the editor on this website and the apps to download, is free software, offered as it is, without any warranty, express or implied, including that it works without errors, that it suits a particular purpose, or that it never loses or damages a document. You use it at your own risk.

Liability

As far as the law allows, the author is not liable for any damage that comes from using Wombat or from not being able to use it, including lost or damaged documents, lost work or missed deadlines. Where the law does not allow this to be excluded (for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or for injury to life, body or health), liability is limited to what the law requires.
